Amazon opens an opportunity on the part of developers to create applications on the Kindle, electronic book reader gadget besutan them. For that, Amazon will begin to release a software development kit in a limited beta starting February 2010.
Kit was named Kindle Development Kit (KDK). KDK gives developers the ability to access the programming interface for the Kindle.
In addition, in the KDK there is also sample code, tools and other documentation. One of them included a Kindle simulator to test the developed applications.
What applications can be developed on the Kindle? As quoted by PC World, Saturday (23/1/2010), Amazon expects applications such as a guidebook that has the latest weather information, cooking guide menus with special needs to crossword puzzles and other word games.
